The Orchid wanted a new site plus online booking
We spoke with Kevin Chan, the owner of The Orchid, to discuss his website needs and explained what we could offer him. We talked about his existing site, the things he wanted to change, and how the online booking form that he had was more hassle than it was worth.
We needed to build a website to represent this top class Chinese restaurant. We started with bringing in a talented photographer to really capture the essence of Kevin’s restaurant and try and get across in pictures, what The Orchid is about. We then built the website to be fully responsive and to have a state-of-the-art booking form.
The booking form that Kevin previously had didn’t seem to work well for him. The new booking form can be used on any device that the customer has to book a table reservation. Once they have booked, Kevin gets a notification on his phone and with a couple of clicks he can book the reservation and let the customer know by Email that it’s confirmed. This system and the new website is not only easier for The Orchid to use, it has also seen online bookings more than double in the first 6 weeks since going live.
