The Challenge

Rob the owner of Heritage Designer Landscapes & Supplies Ltd approached us as he was looking for a brand, stationary and a website for his new business. From our initial meeting Rob put his trust in us and gave us free reign to come up with a concept and plan to bring his ideas to life.

The Objectives

  • Develop a brand that resonated with the companies ethos
  • Design business cards, flyers, vehicle signage and shop signage
  • Create a website which showcased the services offered from Heritage
  • Build an ecommerce section of the website to sell his range of products online
  • Ensure the website could be easily updated internally at Heritage
  • Help with social media platform setup and initial social postings
  • Ongoing SEO to drive quality traffic to the website

The Solution

We developed a brand and style structure to kick off this project. From there, we researched the competition and designed a website to showcase Heritage’s various services by using high resolution photographs and solid blocks of descriptive text.

We then built the ecommerce side of the site, added in the range of products and then fully tested the whole site.

Next was the social channel setup and initial postings, which came from case studies of jobs which Heritage had completed. These went onto both the website and social channels to push the whole brand out.

Finally we implemented full onsite SEO and initial offsite SEO and saw some solid results within 3 months.

The Result

We now continue to work with Heritage Designer Landscapes & Supplies Ltd on an ongoing basis, implementing there SEO and keeping their website safe and up to date.

We have been gradually reducing the amount of print advertising that Heritage use and our aim in the next 12 months is to get enough sales and leads through the website, where print advertising becomes a less frequent outlay and the majority of the businesses revenue is generated from high quality online leads.

Here's the truth, I can't speak highly enough of these guys. The reality of it is, I've probably been a nightmare customer. I started a project then halfway through decided to take a career break (which essentially left a half finished project) Clearly not ideal for these guys but notheless, there was no kicking and screaming from them. In fact, it was the opposite; they've always been on hand to give guidance and support, above and beyond the scope of any business arrangement. If they're were more stars available I would use them! Highly recommended.

We can honestly say that Team Marvel are the best web developers we have worked with in our 21 years in business. We had some quite complex requirements, and work with international clients, and the team were very patient and accommodating with all of our requests. We have several zoom calls with Dave as the site was being built, and a follow up call soon after to make sure we were totally happy.
